That’s right! After more than three years of development, Infinitale Chronicles #2: Seeds of Defiance is finally ready to launch!
I plan to launch the campaign on indie comic creator, Michael Bancroft‘s, YouTube livestream show (check him out and subscribe here) on that Friday. The exact time will be solidified as we get closer to launch!
This book has been more challenging to produce than I initially thought and I am extremely grateful to everyone that helped get this colossal project over the finish-line!
So why did it take so long?
There are a number of things that contributed to this book’s lengthy delay. Could it have been the fact the book weighs in at 120 full-color pages (compared to the 54 pages of the first book)? Could it have been that there are THREE versions of this book available on the campaign? Could it have been poor communication and a lack of priority from of the production teams? Could it have been the effects of the post-lockdown economy setting in? Maybe it was all of the above?
Whatever the case, it’s here and I REALLY hope it knocks your socks off!
I have compiled the feedback from the survey I had sent out after the first campaign and have ensured this new campaign for the second book shall contain the perks that got the highest votes. “Early Bird” perks will be available in two flavors: First 10 & Duration Early Bird Bonuses.
First 10 Early Bird Perk: I will be providing randomly selected resin figurines to the first 10 physical book backers (see below) at no extra charge.
Duration Early Bird Perk: All backers that back physical books within the first 7 days will receive a FREE Jumbo Holo-foil card featuring artwork by Pow Rodrix (and colored by me).
So what about those Mailing List Secret Perks? Lastly, I’d like to present the Stretch Goals I have planned for this campaign. It’s one thing to squeak by with the bare minimum of funding, but to actually thrive and have a super-successful campaign deserves some FREE rewards to those that helped make it happen!

#2 – Infinitale Chronicles – Book #3 – Advent of Sorrows (Preview): This b&w 30-page preview book contains the first chapter of Book #3 by artist & letterer, Nyriam Nowa! When added with either the Standard Edition or Alternate Art Edition of Book #2, that’s 150 pages of content!
#3 – The Art of Infinitale Chronicles Volume 1 – Abridged Edition: This digest-sized, full-color art book contains all of the artwork used for Infinitale Chronicles up to this point. Its page size is still TBD. Backers that backed limited edition bundles will receive this for FREE when the Stretch Goal is reached!
