The Summer of Infinitale has come and gone. The campaign for Book 2: Seeds of Defiance successfully funded and every backer received their books. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every backer for their generosity and support! Without them, these books couldn’t exist!
Now, we enter the winter with a renewed resolve to continue the production of Book 3: Advent of Sorrows. Backers of the second crowdfunding campaign received a free, black & white preview of this book (44 pages). It was created by our new artist, @NyriamNowa.
Production has resumed and the next crowdfunding campaign is planned for a 2027 launch!
Retail Edition
Meanwhile, the retail edition of Book 2: Seeds of Defiance is now available on Amazon!
This edition may lack some of the premium aspects and supplementary goodies of the crowdfunded editions but they still contain the full story (including the added “Book 2.5” pages that increase the page count to 123 full color pages!) for those that missed the campaign.
It was exciting to see backers’ social media unboxings and reviews showcasing what they received from the crowdfunding campaign and I have included a few samples of them in the Crowdfunding section of this website!
Valuable Feedback Needed
It’s difficult to gauge the perceived quality of my work when it doesn’t receive any feedback. This is why I included a survey for backers to provide their feedback anonymously to let me know what I’m doing well and what areas I need to improve upon.
Unfortunately, I have had very little engagement with this current survey.
I’ll have to figure out better incentives to encourage more survey engagement in the next crowdfunding campaign. An ego blow of negative feedback is far more appreciated than complete silence with no sales.
Manga Edition
I recently participated in a promotional event at a local bookstore, Balin Books, in Nashua, NH (USA). A few of the Manga Editions are now available on their shelves. I couldn’t find any links to purchase these books on their website but, if you’re in the area, they are available at the physical location.
